The story behind the artwork:

I painted this during the early part of the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown in spring 2020. I was inspired by a line in a song -- I felt like it perfectly described my thoughts and experience at a specific point in time. 

A fair warning-- the song it is inspired by is definitely explicit and a bit weird, but I just couldn't get it out of my head! The song is "Ouijia" by Harley Poe and the most impactful lyric for me was:  

" After a while getting hiiigh in the bathroom gets old.... "
